BUILDING COMMUNITY THROUGH BOOKS

Perhaps you've seen one before — a quaint little box brimming with books free for the taking. But wait, this is New York City, something for free? Really? It's true! "Little Free Libraries" are neighborhood book exchanges where you can take a book (or two or three) and leave a book as you wish.

Peckish is proud to be the home of Fort Greene's newest Little Free Library. Look for the bright orange cube, open the door and help yourself to anything that strikes your fancy. Remember us next time you are clearing off your bookshelves and leave your gently used books in the cabinet. You can even leave a little note for the next reader saying what you enjoyed about the book!

This is your library to enjoy. Drink Good Coffee. Read Good Books.

Some books leave us free and some books make us free.
